Read

You can read every page of apostolicsatsea.com without signing up for anything, and our pages don’t set cookies. We collect personal information only when you type it into the newsletter form or the chat.

The newsletter form

The form asks for your name and email address. When you subscribe, we add you to our email list, save you as a contact in our records and send our team a short email so we know you joined. We use your details to send 2027 updates, event announcements and booking reminders.

The chat

The chat in the corner of each page answers questions about the cruise, and you can use it without giving your name. We save your messages and the page you started from so our team can read each conversation, and a copy goes to our team by email. When the chat can’t answer something, it hands the conversation to a person on our team.

The replies come from an AI model run by OpenAI, so each message you send goes to OpenAI to produce the answer.

If you share your name, email address or phone number in the chat, we save them as a contact so we can follow up with you. If you gave us your email address, we also send you a copy of the conversation once it has been quiet for 30 minutes.

Who holds your information

A few services run the site for us and hold your information on our behalf:

  • Resend sends our emails and keeps our email list.
  • Keeper, our contact manager, holds our contact records.
  • OpenAI writes the chat’s replies.
  • Vercel hosts the website and the chat.

To stop spam, the chat and the newsletter form use your IP address to limit how many requests one device can send in a short time.

What loads from other sites

Fonts load from Google Fonts and the page animations from jsDelivr, so those services see your device’s IP address the way any website you visit does. The 3D cabin tours come from Matterport and load only when you tap to open one. Once a tour is open, Matterport’s servers set one short-lived security cookie.

Booking your cabin

Booking happens on Apostolic Travel’s reservation site at apostolictravel.rezmagic.com. The details and payment you enter there go to that reservation system, not to this website.

Your choices

Email info@apostolicsatsea.com if you want to stop getting our emails or want your information corrected or deleted. When you ask us to delete it, we remove you from our email list, our contact records and the chat history.

Children

The newsletter and the chat are meant for adults planning the trip. If a child under 13 has sent us information, email info@apostolicsatsea.com and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this page

When we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
