How much bottled water can I bring on a Royal Caribbean cruise?

Royal Caribbean allows a limited amount of non-alcoholic beverages per stateroom onboard, but there are restrictions related to the type and quantity of water you can bring.

What you can bring:

  • Bottled water: You can bring up to 12 standard (17 oz.) bottles or cartons of bottled water per stateroom. They must be sealed and unopened.

  • Empty reusable water bottles: You can bring empty reusable water bottles and fill them up with tap water or the water dispensers available onboard.

What you cannot bring:

  • Cases of water: Bringing an entire case of water (typically 24 bottles) is not allowed as it exceeds the 12-bottle limit per stateroom.

  • Unopened gallon jugs of water: Bringing large containers of water is also prohibited.

Tips:

  • Consider purchasing bottled water packages offered by Royal Caribbean, which can be delivered to your stateroom if desired.

  • Utilize the numerous water dispensers located throughout the ship to refill your reusable water bottles.

  • Tap water on Royal Caribbean ships is safe to drink.

It's important to note that restrictions may vary depending on the specific itinerary and local regulations.
